In the Name of God Amen I Nathaniel Steele of the Town of ffalmouth in the County of Cornwall being thro the Mercy and Goodness of God of Sound and Perfect Mind and Memory tho Weak in Body do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following hereby revoking all other or fformer Wills by my made Imprimis I give and bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body to be decently Buried in ffalmouth Church under my seat in a private manner as soon as can be with Conveniency in the Morning Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Martha James my house she now lives in after my Death to the remainder of her life and after my said Daughters Death to go jointly to my grand Sons Erasmus and his Brother Lazarus James to hold the same to the end of the Lease and I likewise will and ordain the Ropemakers Account be made up and Ballance Produced or at least Profit of the same which have been made since I have been Concerned to be paid to my Daur Martha James and to her two sons and my Will further is for my Executors in Trust hereinafter named to pay to my Daughter James and her two Sons five hundred Pounds in Money to enable them jointly to carry on the Ropemakers Trade that is one half the said Sum five hundred Pounds to be Paid to my Daughter James and her two Sons in three Months after my Interment and the other half to be paid in three Months after that In Consideration of the above Legacys my Will is to oblige my Daughter James and her two Sons Erasmus and Lazarus James jointly to find my Cousin Sarah Warren Meat Drink Washing and Lodging to the Remainder of her Life Item I fforgive my Grand Daughter Mary Ustick all the Debts which she owes me upon Note and . My Will is for my Executors to pay her one hundred Pounds in Money in one Month after my Decease and and to her Daughter Ann Ustick ffifty Pounds when she comes in Age Item I give to John Tregose one hundred Pounds to be paid in one Month after my Decease and to George Tregose ffifty Pounds to be paid him Five Pounds P Year to find him Cloathing Item I Give to my Grand Sons and Daughters of the family of the Hingstons five hundred Pounds in manner as follows in five seperate Parts That is one hundred Pounds to be paid to the Children of Lazerus Hingston and one hundred Pounds to be paid to the Children of my Grand Daughter Elizabeth ffox and one hundred Pounds to be paid to the Children of my Grand Daughter Sarah Tregelles the three former to be paid in one year after my decease and one hundred pounds to be paid to Nathaniel and James Hingston in two or three Years after my Decease and one hundred pounds to the Children of the late Andrew Hingston to be paid when she comes of Age Item I give to my Cousin George Warren and Wife Ten Pounds as a small Gratuity for the Trouble I have frequently gave em Item my Will is to give my Cousin Sarah Warren two Guineas a Year for her Life time to buy her some Small Necessaries she may have Occasion for keeping her Cloths in repair and I do hereby desire and appoint my Brother Lazarus Steele Mr Abraham Hall Mr Edward Snoxell to be my Executors in trust to see the due Performance of this my last Will and after the Particular Legacies are Paid I do Constitute and appoint my Grandson Nathaniel Steele to all the Remainder and every Part of ll my Goods and Chattles Debtor and Creditor in Consideration of which to allow his ffather a Maintenance for Life not less than Six Shilling per Week I do acknowledge this to be my last Will and executed by me this Eighth day of July One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty three N Steel Published and declared to be his last Will and Testament in Presence of Thomas Nash and Lucy Downton
